We're Rabbi Yossi and Leah Moscowitz, and we moved to Surrey with a simple belief: that Jewish life should feel warm, welcoming, and wonderfully uncomplicated.

At Chabad of Surrey, there's no membership fee, no prerequisites, and no need to know anything in advance. Whether you grew up lighting Shabbat candles every week or you're discovering your heritage for the first time, you belong here exactly as you are.

We host Shabbat dinners where strangers become friends over challah and chicken soup. We celebrate holidays together — sometimes in living rooms, sometimes in public squares. We learn together, marking life's milestones and supporting each other through its challenges.

Inspired by the Lubavitcher Rebbe's vision of Ahavat Yisrael — unconditional love for every fellow Jew — we believe that every person who walks through our door (or sends us an email, or bumps into us at Tesco) is exactly who we've been waiting to meet.

Jewish Surrey is bigger than you might think. And it's growing. We're here to make sure no one experiences it alone.
