Shavuot at Chabad Surrey
Shavuot 10 Commandments
and Ice Cream Party
Shavuot celebrates the moment the Jewish people received the Torah at Mount Sinai — and according to tradition, every Jewish soul was there. Come re-experience that moment with us.
Shavuot celebrates the day G-d gave the Torah at Mount Sinai, and we gather to hear the Ten Commandments read again. It's also customary to eat dairy foods. At Chabad of Surrey, children and adults hear the Ten Commandments together, followed by an ice cream party.
